This over-dressed couple is a takeoff on the dress style from Georges Seurat's Sunday Afternoon on the Island of the La Grande Jatte. I have always thought that one might sculpt all of the figures and place them in a park. Someone has already done the musical Sunday in the Park with George and a topiary park in Columbus, Ohio. But, I guess I have other "fish to fry."
